"Let Your Mercy O Lord be Upon Us"

Yesterday we went to Cornerstone Church, and during testimony time Mr H. shared about the many people he knows that are out of work, have no job, or are just barely making it. Things seem so bad in our present economy. But there is still reason to hope in spite of bad circumstances. When the children of Israel were at the Red Sea it was dark, and they were frightened, but the Lord protected and delivered them. Then Mr H. read these verses that had encouraged him from the Psalms:

"Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy,
To deliver their soul from death,
And to keep them alive in famine.

Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
For our heart shall rejoice in Him,
Because we have trusted in His Holy name.

Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You."
Psalm 33:18-22

I was encouraged to always remember that the Lord has everything under control!
We can rest in Him.

Little Hannah fell asleep during the service. She is so cute!
