Home With the Lord...

Last Thursday morning a dear friend of ours, Mr. Gene Miller, died very suddenly and unexpectedly from a heart attack. Please pray for his family - his wife and 5 children. He was only 65 and we had seen him just a couple weeks before. We've known the Miller family ever since we moved out here from Vermont 7 years ago. They helped us move into our home. Mr. Miller liked to get things done and the sooner the better! With our two families working together, we had our stuff unloaded from the semi in record time! :)
He had been a photographer for the Navy when he was in Vietnam, and when he found out I was interested in photography, he would give me advice and often asked me how it was coming along. He always told me I needed to take thousands of pictures.
He was very funny and always made us laugh.
I will miss him.
