Sunday afternoon we went to a picnic at the family farm of an older couple from church. Mr. C's grandfather built this house between 1910 and 1913. It has tall ceilings with beautiful woodwork inside and stained glass panels above the windows in the living room that face the porch.

I love old houses! Those tall windows, narrow wood siding, and proper proportions all make them look so well made and inviting; I'd like to live in one someday.... :)
