At the reception yesterday, Mr Valenti invited everyone over to his home for church and fellowship the next day (Sunday).
They were planning on having church outside, but the weather was a little too cold for that. So they held church in the gate house.
Mr. Brown spoke on the 9th commandment from the book of Deuteronomy....it gave us a lot to think about.

Dad thought that since we were down in southern LA, we should go into New Orleans to see what it was like. We drove over the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway - a 24 mile bridge!

The roads were so narrow down town that it seemed dark down among the buildings when it was still light out!
