Monday we began our journey home. Driving all day Monday and through the night, we arrived home early Tuesday afternoon. :)
Mom took this picture of us by the flowers outside the hotel. It was in the upper 30s that morning - hence the winter coats. :)
The hotel we stayed at.
Pine trees lined the road for miles and miles.
This clock was at the Welcome center in the south of Mississippi.
An interesting structure in Jackson.
I never did see a crocodile...!
In Memphis again.
Driving through the rolling hills of Arkansas.
A stop for breakfast.
Getting closer to home!
Getting closer to home!
The rental van got stuck at the end of our driveway; so we walked the rest of the way home. :)
HOME AGAIN!!!
We are so grateful for the opportunity to go to the wedding together. Originally just Dad, Ana and I would be able to go. But the Lord provided someone to house sit just 2 days before we needed to leave. That was a direct answer to prayer! We had safe travels, and missed all the bad weather that was forecasted; from a blizzard to the threat of severe thunderstorms. It was an encouragement to be with other believers who have a heart for the family; building one another up to be a blessing and a witness to others. We are already missing that.... Discipleship is so important.
The wedding was an encouragement and a delight to witness!! The trip was long, but safe. What can I say but: We are grateful!
Praise the Lord.
