On Friday we ate breakfast, packed up, and headed south...
Looking up at the chandelier at the hotel...I thought it was quite pretty. :)
They had waffle irons and batter so people could make their own waffles. Ana and I enjoyed that.
There was a long section in southern Missouri that looked like a war zone.
The trees were all broken up. :(
Mississippi gets the prize for the nicest welcome centers we have ever been to. This place was beautiful! And the lady working there was so friendly.
It had a little museum inside...
...and many flowers outside!
We ran into heavy rain in the afternoon. It poured for quite a while and I could see a lot of water along the side of the road.
They had these tropical looking plants at the front entrance.
The welcoming committee. They came up to us when we got out of the van. :)
Even the ducks in the south are friendly!
