I found this telegram from 1944 in an old Bible I bought at a used book store several years ago. (It was in the clearance section and was only $.25!) I was quite delighted to find this piece of history tucked in the Bible, (which has his name, Robert Fulton, written inside and several little notes scribbled in the margins and verses underlined). I always wonder when I look at the telegram if he was sent overseas during the war and if he came home.
